About
The climate summit came about because concerned citizens in the Central Victorian region realised we have to expand our impact. We have been working on practical ways of tackling climate change for several years now and have installed solar PV, solar hot water services, helped members reduce their energy use, addressed transport emissions and worked on other positive actions.
Earlier this year, we decided we needed to see greater support from our decision makers if we are to really make a difference.
So this summit is to inspire, network and support people to speak out about climate change, so that our decision makers are empowered to take real and effective action.
